Museo d'arte sacra (en)

Set in the Vaulted Hall of the Church of San Lorenzo and inaugurated in July 2004, after the restoration and adaptation of the hall for this purpose, the Museum of Sacred Art presents an interesting collection of liturgical and devotional objects that constitute the historical artistic heritage of the Church of San Lorenzo.

The Vaulted Hall is not an integral part of the church's architecture, but belonged to an ancient preceding construction, likely a prestigious residence that, once demolished, was reused as the foundation for this church. This space, judging by the frescoes dating back to the 15th century, served as a place of prayer and frames a collection of objects that span the most relevant historical moments of the history of the parish in Campiglia. Noteworthy pieces include a 16th-century bronze Christ attributed to Giambologna, a third-grade hanging, made of precious Tour gros fabric enriched with gold and silver threads dating to the late 1600s, and a bronze pax from the school of Andrea Guardi (late 1400s, early 1500s).
